Night Couple Photo Session in Seattle, WA - Bao & Sedryck

Growing up in Washington I’ve had the opportunity to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of its wilderness. Coming home to visit I’m always greeted with amazing views of nature, whether its the lush forests of green (my favorite color) or the towering mountain ranges. As beautiful as nature is in Washington, I can’t deny that the city of Seattle has its own charm. The ever bustling Pikes Market to the movie like ferry rides across the city, Seattle reminds me that there is a shot to be discovered everywhere.

The cool autumn breeze on a clear night sky enticing me to come out across the Puget sound. Boarding the ferry we set out onto the water, the groans from metal pressing against one another and the faint sound of rippling water contradicting each other. Working out of my comfort zone only surrounded by the empty halls and weary faces of people commuting to and from work, I had to get creative. Inspired from the vast amount of rom coms I’ve come to see courtesy of my boyfriend (lol) I started posing my couple. Scenes flashed before my eyes as I tried my best to recall them and pin pointing the frames I thought screamed “Love”. The challenge was capturing young love in partners with completely different comfort zones. The boyfriend took a bit of time to warm up but the girlfriend was a natural. Just like your first love, not knowing what to do and how to act, you stick to what feels right. I kept the poses rated PG for the most part so not to embarrass them but hopefully enough to jog the viewers memory of their first love.

I hope this photoshoot was able to remind you of younger times, where the concerns of adulthood were a far off idea. Enjoy.
